MORE ABOUT TRUTH

TRUTH EXISTS

If the truth does not exist, there can be no right or wrong. What would one compare right to? If the truth does not exist, there is no such thing as a lie. If one believes in the difference between good and evil, right and wrong, or truth vs. a lie, then one believes truth exists. How can there be any difference, or division, if there is nothing to divide? What could one compare anything to? If one believes in truth, one believes in God, for God is truth. Truth is absolute right. The truth exists even where it is not understood.

TRUTH IS EVERLASTING

The truth was, is, and always will be the truth. The truth, which is, and is a part of, God, is the only thing that lasts. It is light everlasting. Anything else is not-truth, and as such, temporary. The truth is unchanging. Thus, when someone finds the truth, they are finding something permanent, which does not wear off, unlike meditation, drugs, self-denial, and other temporary attempts at finding truth.

Should anyone criticize truth, they should be aware that no critique of truth has or will withstand the test of time. It is not mankind which determines truth. The truth simply is.

TRUTH CAN BE FOUND EVERYWHERE

One may find the truth anywhere. Even non-truth defines truth by exclusion. Everything that is not "non-truth" is "truth".

I am not the truth myself. If one was the sea itself how could one see oneself? A fish must jump out of the water to see what the surface looks like from the other side. Once the fish jumps out of the water, it is no longer in the water, but it suddenly is able to see what the surface looks like. It is the division of truth into "truth" and "non-truth" that allows the truth and non-truth to be described and known. While one lives, one is like a fish out of water. Until one drinks the water of truth one will not know from whence one came. This is because the truth cannot perceive itself, it simply is. Can your eye see itself without the aid of a mirror?

There is only one truth, but countless non-truths. Many know the truth, but are unwilling to believe it. They would rather accept any and all brands of error before accepting the one and only truth. Thus, in the Kingdom of Error, the truth is an unwelcome visitor. In the Kingdom of Error, all agree on the one thing that is not true, the truth. However, in the Kingdom of Truth, all agree on the one thing that is the truth.

TRUTH BEING REVEALED IS LIFE

Truth is defined by that which is not truth. To say "the truth is the truth" is not to explain much and could be said to be a circular definition. Revelation, the awareness of uncovering truth, is what living is. Life is observation, hopefully observation of truth. And similarly, the covering up of truth, could be likened to dying. Life is like a curtain being drawn open to reveal truth. One knows not how the curtain will be drawn, but the truth already exists, and awaits unchanged beneath the veil of life to be revealed.

TRUTH IS HEALTHY AND CHANGES YOU INTO IT

The revelation of truth actually changes ones body for the better! The truth actually alters ones atoms, and thus ones physical body, to be more at peace. Let me give you an example:

Suppose you lost your car keys. You're late for work, and you become physically upset about it. Let's say you are frantic. Your emotions are racing full blast because you can't act on certain beliefs without your car. Your body is in a state of disorganization and dissonance. Stress is actually aging you. Now, suppose I tell you where your car keys are. Wham! Suddenly, this simple truth has set you free! You are relaxed again and on your way. Something has changed you physically, namely, the information which supports your belief system.

Tears are real, and they come from somewhere. It's not just "in ones mind", there are actual atomic changes taking place. On an atomic level, finding your keys stopped the creation and flow of potentially damaging molecules of adrenalin and other hormones. In my example, when you found your keys, you gained the knowledge which supports your entire belief structure. Without your car keys, many of your beliefs are interrupted, but with them, everything is O.K. Thus, knowledge, and lack of knowledge, affects the body. Truth interrupts delusion, and lack of truth creates it. The more ones beliefs are aligned with God, the less they will be interrupted by error. Thus, one will feel less stress and more peace and contentment in direct correlation to the fewer delusionary beliefs one has acquired.

The saying, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words may never harm me," may not be true. Words can harm, and words can set one free. It all depends on what one believes. Evil words can harm, and truthful words can set one free if one believes them.

Perhaps there is something to spell casting after all! If one is to believe an evil spell has been cast upon oneself, then truly ones belief in the spell will bring ones doom, or at least some harm to ones body, through the chemicals it will create out of stress and fear alone. Likewise, if one truly believes one is positive and confident, then truly one is! Thus, unless ones beliefs are true and free of doubt, one will be subject to the damage someone can do to one through deception or proliferation of ignorance.

Truth is healthy not only for ones body, but for ones soul as well. Truth is the surgeon of ones soul. What benefit is there to bring health to the temporary flesh when it is only the soul which is lasting?

THE TRUTH IS OBVIOUS

Sounds funny, but the truth is not hiding; other things are hiding the truth. If one observes all that one perceives, one finds the truth to be obvious. Concepts hide percepts. The word "truth" is not truth itself, for words are but concepts of the actual thing.

THE TRUTH IS FREE

Anyone who comes to God is given a franchise in truth for free. The truth is a prescription for all that ails one. No one owns the truth, but the truth owns everyone. The truth cannot be plagiarized, nor is it in itself plagiarism. If you and the truth are one, then where is one without the other? The truth will set one free. Free from what? Free from pain. And, of course, there is a corollary to this law. Anything that is not truth is like unto a chain.

The truth itself cannot be bought or sold. People who claim to sell the truth are really only selling fancy wrappers that may or may not contain the way to truth which is itself free.

THE TRUTH BECAME FLESH

The truth is alive, has become flesh, and has a name - Jesus Christ. "Jesus" means "One who saves", and "Christ" means "the anointed one of God." Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life."-John 14:6 Jesus is not only a man, but is indiscernible from God itself. Jesus is not a man seeking God, but God seeking man. Jesus, which is "the Word", or concept, of God, became flesh, walked this Earth, and was sacrificed on a cross to atone for the sins of all mankind. Jesus Christ is the perfect demonstration of enlightenment. Christ is the drawbridge to the Kingdom of Truth; such drawbridge is lowered to all believers so that they might cross over the moat of sin and enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

THE TRUTH IS UNPOPULAR

In a world that runs on delusion, the truth is unpopular. The majority of people are ignorant, and thus, would rather not know the truth. This in mind, one cannot expect to be praised or patted on the back for teaching the truth, in fact, one is more likely to be mocked, beaten, and fed to the lions for teaching truth. After all, it is easier to sin than to attempt righteousness.

THE TRUTH IS A SWORD

The truth is a sword, and like a sword, can be used for protection from evil as well as for slaying the ignorance of the world. It would seem the duty of any person, who upon finding the sword of truth, would unsheathe such sword, wield it wisely, and become not only a defender of truth, but a soldier of truth as well. The sword of truth is not to be locked inside a castle and worshiped, but taken into the world and used to prune and weed God's garden. As Jesus said, "Think not that I am come to send peace on Earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword."-Matthew 10:34 The lord is a sword.

The sword of truth is like unto a tongue of silver. Ones own tongue is a sword. Wield it wisely lest one end up in meaningless battles of hot air. A loose tongue may end up causing harm to the body of truth. Pick ones battles carefully and keep ones sword sheathed within ones skull until one is ready to use it.

Interestingly, most swords used by knights in medieval times were themselves created in the shape of a cross. The sword of truth has a name called "love". Where it cuts it gives life rather than death and frees one of the bonds of pain.

THE TRUTH EXPELS EVIL:

The truth expels evil in the same way that light expels darkness. When the light of truth illuminates ones beliefs, ones aberrations scramble like roaches from the light. Those who live in truth attract others who live in truth and repel those who live in error.
